Ingenieros de Centroamérica Limitada –INDECA Ltda.– was established in 1964 by initiative of the first urban engineer in the country, Eduardo Jenkins Dobles. He, together with Engineer Luis Guillermo Solano Allen, Engineer Constantino Bernasconi López, Architect Warnes Sequeira Ramírez and Engineer José Pablo Jenkins Dobles organized a group of professionals in engineering and architecture, committed to the urban development of the country, implementing the planning, urban development, design procedures and qualified standards for projects to be developed starting from that decade.

The initial concern of its founders was centered on planning and developing urban development projects that comply with and exceed quality standards in planning, taking into account not only the needs of the customer, but also those of final users, the cities and the environment, in order to provide quality of life to people.
